The juxtaposition is striking. Here an
oil painting titled
Trip to the Farm
showing a man walking beside a
donkey-pulled cart which rides a dog.

And there next to the painting is a
papier mache scuplture titled
Lucked
Out
. The life size figurine is that of a
goose, one might just imagine that
it had dropped out of the farm
bound headed company long
enough to lay the golden eggs.

Cristina D. Leoncio who painted
Trip
to the farm
also represented four
watercolor paintings and a hydracal
sculpture titled
Woman in Black.

How does a visually impaired artist
visualize and create their work?
Leoncio said, "I have a memory bank that was built since my
childhood. So I draw upon it and then I try to give the subject my
little own up-to-date twist. It's my brain and hands that work
together well in creating a wonderful artwork. I can be competitive
with anyone else in the art and graphic design field."
